Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas popularly known as Ashanti was born October 13 the 13th of October, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. She is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Her talent was first noticed as a teen. The singer signed with Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. Ashanti was featured in Fat Joe's What's Luv? song that same year. And Fat Joe's What's Lulv? Her songs Foolish (number number one) as well as the track What's Luv! She became the first female artist to have the Top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 in America and with the number one spot held by Foolish. one and the other being What's Loving?
