Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Her most well-known role was in the role of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love acting in the Preparatory school, before moving to Ohio with her family in late 1970s. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for many years prior to taking on film and television roles. Anna's first major part was Arden on Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. At the beginning of 1990, Anna was a frequent actor in both film and TV, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. Skyler was the character she played in Breaking Bad. In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn participated in an audio-play podcast known as "Numbered days". The romance between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the story on Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and eventually its demise mirroring the same arc of Walter White's last years of life.
